What Claude can ask Redliner

Claude is most useful when the question is specific and tied to Redliner data: drawings, revisions, markups, RFIs, tasks, takeoffs, photos, or project context.

Useful prompts

  • Summarize unresolved markups on the current architectural set.
  • Which sheets changed between the last two revisions?
  • List RFIs connected to drawing markups that still need answers.
  • Show takeoff quantities by room for the first floor.
  • What drawing issues should I review before tomorrow’s owner meeting?

Bad prompts

  • “Tell me everything” — too broad.
  • “Is this safe to build?” — requires professional judgment outside the connector.
  • “Change the project budget” — not a read-only connector task.

Use Claude as a reviewer, not the authority

Claude can organize and explain Redliner context quickly. The builder, architect, estimator, or PM still owns the decision.
