Terms of Service

Last updated: April 27, 2026

These Terms govern access to Redliner’s drawings-first construction software, including hosted services, APIs, SDKs, support, and related documentation. If you are using Redliner for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

1. Definitions

“Redliner,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the Redliner product and its operating entity. “Customer,” “you,” and “your” mean the person or organization accessing the service. “Services” means the Redliner website, application, APIs, SDKs, integrations, documentation, support, and professional services. “Customer Content” means drawings, documents, markups, takeoff data, photos, comments, account data, and other content you submit to the Services.

2. Access and authorized users

You may use the Services only for lawful business purposes and only in accordance with these Terms, an applicable order form, and Redliner documentation. You are responsible for your users, credentials, permissions, and any activity under your account. Do not share passwords, bypass access controls, probe or disrupt the Services, or use Redliner to store unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.

3. Customer content and ownership

You retain ownership of Customer Content. You grant Redliner a limited license to host, process, display, transmit, back up, and otherwise use Customer Content as needed to provide, secure, support, improve, and develop the Services. We do not claim ownership of your drawings, project records, or markups.

4. AI, scale detection, and version comparison

Redliner may use automated and AI-assisted features to detect sheet scale, extract sheet metadata, compare drawing versions, suggest markup alignment, classify takeoff areas, and improve workflows. AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing measurements, comparisons, exports, and recommendations before relying on them for bidding, construction, contract administration, or safety decisions.

5. APIs, SDKs, and integrations

API and SDK access is provided for approved integrations and must be used within published limits and documentation. You may not resell, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, or use Redliner APIs to build a competing drawings, markup, takeoff, or document-comparison product without written permission. Custom integrations may be subject to separate terms, scopes, fees, and security review.

6. Third-party services

Redliner may connect to third-party storage, identity, accounting, estimating, project management, or communication tools. Those services are governed by their own terms. You are responsible for authorizing integrations and for the data transferred to or from them.

7. Fees, trials, and suspension

Paid plans, trials, renewals, cancellations, and usage limits are governed by the order form or checkout terms presented to you. We may suspend access for nonpayment, security risk, abuse, or material violation of these Terms, but will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide notice when practical.

8. Confidentiality and security

Each party may receive confidential information from the other. The receiving party will protect that information using reasonable care and use it only for the relationship contemplated by these Terms. Redliner uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Intellectual property

Redliner and its software, workflows, designs, documentation, APIs, SDKs, models, trademarks, and other technology are owned by Redliner or its licensors. Except for the access rights expressly granted, no rights are transferred to you.

10. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis except as expressly stated in a written agreement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redliner disclaims implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time and will update the date above when we do. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law or contract. Questions about these Terms should be sent to hello@redliner.com.
