A small team. A narrow product. A long plan.
Redliner is built by people who have worked on construction software for a long time and wanted to strip out the stuff that wasn’t paying rent. What we kept is what we use on real sets every week.
What we believe
A drawings-first platform should be fast, exact, and honest about what it does. If your crew can’t tell a new hire how it works in a sentence, it’s too big.
What we won’t build
Accounting. CRM. HR. Timesheets. Gantt. Any of it. If you need the larger construction-management feature set, use BuildTools. Redliner stays narrow and plays next to those systems, not on top of them.
What we’re working on
SDK/API access for drawings, markups, AI-assisted scale detection, version comparison, and custom integrations for teams that need Redliner inside their own workflow.
What Redliner is — and what it is not.
Why is Redliner narrow?
Construction teams already have systems of record. Redliner focuses on the drawing workflow: PDFs, markups, takeoffs, scale detection, version comparison, and API access.
When should a company use BuildTools instead?
Use BuildTools when you need full construction project management. Use Redliner when the job is construction PDF markup, comparison, measurement, or embedding drawing workflows into another system.
