Export marked-up drawings and takeoffs

Exports are for handoff. Before sending one, make sure the drawing set, revision, scale, and categories are correct.

Export a marked-up PDF

  1. Open the drawing set or sheet range you need.
  2. Choose Export PDF or the workspace equivalent.
  3. Include markups that should appear in the record copy.
  4. Open the exported file once before sending it externally.

Export takeoff quantities

  1. Confirm scale and categories before exporting.
  2. Choose the quantity or CSV export.
  3. Group by category, room, sheet, or scope depending on how your estimate is structured.
  4. Keep page references in the export so reviewers can audit the number.

What to check before sending

  • Correct project and drawing revision.
  • Visible markups are intentional.
  • Quantities have sheet references.
  • Scale was verified on measured sheets.
  • Internal-only notes are removed before owner or trade distribution.
